Shipping Fine Art
Usually when shipping art, great care is taken to protect the work for safe arrival to the Client. After completing this commission last month, the art was carefully packed and double insulated against damp weather then sent two day registered mail. Though each piece is handled differently, the goal to ensure the piece arrives intact is the same. This piece was an unframed drawing, so protecting the corners and making sure the work wouldn’t bend was the priority. In the image above #1 – #3, the art work is placed in a sturdy cardboard envelope. Image #4, it was then wrapped in bubble plastic then wrapped in plastic again.( not shown). Finally, image #6, the art was placed in a second outer cardboard envelope.
