October 2015 began with a series of paintings on the topic of work aptly titled “To Work”. The series was, completed in May 2016 but moved into a new direction with an additional 8 pieces called “The Workers“. God willing, will share them in the next art post. “To Work” explored the various and sundry ways we commute to our various places of employment. Work is a blessing from the Lord in any economy and a necessity for most. That necessity compels us en mass to get to work everyday to earn our daily bread.
